Jane Crocker is a Champion from Airlocked! season 2.

Jane Crocker is a gutsy young lass with gumption and old-timey charm. Raised in a normal suburb as a normal girl, she nonetheless was very aware of her proespective future as the inheritor of CrockerCorp, the owners of the Betty Crocker brand of products. She was not, however, aware of the true nature of the video game she planned to play with her friends on November 11th, 2011 - or that it would lead to her discovery of the true nature behind her beloved corporation. This would lead to much tension and friction within her friend group, and she was ultimately forced to take up the mantle of heiress proper, which helped usher in disaster culminating in her swift and untimely death - until, that is, she awoke in the Champion Excellence Program station.

Jane usually refers to people politely with "Mister" or "Miss" before their name unless told to do otherwise, but would prefer to just be called by her first name.

Backstory

The following is a general timeline of events pieced together from promotional materials and in-show revelations. Chronological order has been attempted, but be warned that it is likely to not make much sense anyway.

On November 11th, 2011, Jane and her three closest friends (Roxy Lalonde, Jake English, and Dirk Strider) were to begin playing Sburb, a video game that draws its players into an alternate reality called the Medium in which they are guided through quests and adventures to bring about the creation of a new universe. The events leading up to Jane's entrance into the Medium, she engaged in a miscommunication with Jake English, one of her friends and her long-time romantic crush, leading to his decision to date their mutual friend Dirk Strider. This arrangement became a constant source of angst for Jane, who spent the next five months in the Medium growing increasingly frustrated with herself and the dense boys around her, while also dealing with a host of skeleton monsters and the challenges of living on a dead Sburb-generated planet called The Land of Crypts and Helium.

The Land of Crypts and Helium, Jane's personal planet in the Medium, as seen in the simulation room of the Champion Excellence Program station.

During this time, though details are not specific as to how, Jane learned about the truth behind the corporation she had been groomed to inherit: it was an elaborate plot to begin the brainwashing of the citizens of Earth by Her Imperious Condescension (or The Condesce), the empress of a long-dead race of aliens known as Trolls hailing from the planet Alternia. She had come to Jane's Earth long ago and adopted her grandfather, raising him as her son as she established her baked goods empire, and then disappeared, leaving the company to churn out mainly food-related products like cake mixes and cookware, as well as experimental technologies like the Unreal Heiress Thoughtwave Tiaratop and various other things used to send subliminal messages throughout the population to make them easier to subjugate when The Condesce finally returned. Through means unexplained, she was now present with the four teens in Sburb itself, and they would have to fight her at some point. To do that, they would need to ascend to God Tier, a highly powerful state of being that would allow them access to special in-game powers - but to do so, all four children would have to kill themselves in a specified area of the Medium in order to ascend.

These five months of hardship and stress culminated in an outburst from Jane on what would be April 13th, 2012 based on the Earth calendar - her sixteenth birthday. Lashing out at Jake for his obtuse behavior and expressing heated emotion towards Roxy Lalonde, she stormed off to be by herself and calm down. Though uncertain and esoteric means she obtained a Juju, an object revered by a race of aliens known as Cherubs that causes a heightened state of mirth, glee, and eccentricity in its users, and was sent on a spree of cheer-spreading mayhem, inducting her three friends in the process. It is during this time they arrived where they were to kill themselves to ascend to God Tier, and after coming down from their Juju-induced high, all four children were blown up by mysterious means and revived as Gods. Jane, in particular, became a fully-realized Maid of Life, a lower-rung God Tier with the ability to bring back people who have died for good, but only once per person.

This moment of resurrection is the last in which Jane was fully herself in mind and body. Almost immediately after, her mind was directly hijacked by The Condesce, brainwashing her in seconds to be a loyal and obedient Heiress Apparent. In this state she could do nothing but follow the alien empress's orders, which included the kidnapping of her friends, the subjugation of arriving players of Sburb's other sessions, and free reign of her harsher, more selfish desires - so long as they remained in line with The Condesce's wishes. It was in this state which she was killed for good via impalement by katana, as confirmed by Xander of Nohr towards the end of Season 2.
